Supporting the journey through recovery

Established in 2018 as a subsidiary of the Sincephetelo Motor Vehicle Accident Fund, Ekuphileni Clinic was created to provide step-down treatment, diagnostic services, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, primarily for people recovering from motor vehicle accidents.

That journey calls for different clinical environments: spaces for diagnostic assessment, treatment and supervised movement and exercise.

Bringing clinical spaces together

Our work at Ekuphileni formed part of AVOMA Group’s turnkey healthcare project offering. The clinic combines MRI and CT imaging rooms, an equipped operating theatre and dedicated rehabilitation spaces within one facility.

In the rehabilitation area, parallel bars, steps and therapy equipment provide settings for supervised movement and exercise.

A connected setting for care

The facility brings the spaces needed for assessment, treatment and rehabilitation together in Mbabane. For AVOMA Group, the project reflects the coordination involved in creating a healthcare environment around several stages of patient care.
